Topaz

Topaz has been on the Earth since the most ancient of times.  It has come through a number of metamorphic changes, as have most vibrations on Earth.  During Earth’s earliest times, Topaz worked with the human body’s chakras, such as they were.  The design of the human form along with the design of its chakras has changed, and so has the way they offer and receive light.  The original chakra designs were of course inferior and met with their end.

Once the human body was capable of accepting light, however little that might have been so long ago, Topaz made its contribution.  Along with the changes that took place in the way light was organized in the chakras, so too did Topaz change.  In today’s world, Topaz’ orange colour resonates with the upper frequencies of the second chakra, and at times, with the lower frequencies of the third chakra.

The divine Creator gave Topaz the grace to open the creative juices, the rasa, or life-force of human existence since the very beginning.  One might well imagine that there was a great need during the early millennia to bring creative energies into the human form.  By the acquisition of the power to create, the quasi light-entity of early Earth adapted to, or adapted, his immediate surroundings.  The power to create, however, did not make life more comfortable in any significant way.  Even though comfort was essential to basic survival, the presence of the creative power had another purpose.  It permitted the higher-self and soul to manipulate light to a greater degree.

The limitations of the human body’s ability to assimilate light were soon realized, and the need for improvements became apparent.  The body was overhauled and redesigned.  The role of Topaz, at that early stage, was to serve as a vibratory home for greater quantities and higher qualities of light.  With more light, the soul’s energies gained access to the way light was manipulated on the physical plane.  During these early stages, the angelic ones did not yet know how light adapted to a third dimensional vibration.  Adapting light to Earth is the essence of our mission on Earth, but the knowledge of how to do so lay ahead.

When Topaz first brought the power to create into the existing chakras of early man, seven chakras did not exist.  At first, there was only a single chakra.  Soon after, there were three chakras—the base, the heart, and the crown chakras.  Topaz resonated with the crown chakra and, to a lesser extent, with the other two chakras.  At this early point in history, the differences between the chakras was inconsequential.  As such, any stone that could resonate with one chakra, resonated with all three chakras.  The crown was somewhat more advanced, because the initial work to bring any available light into the body was done in the crown.
The distant past has now come to the present.

In the last few millennia, Topaz continued its work to bring forth the creative energies of the higher-self.  To some extent, Topaz still brings forth light in the current new age, and still retains some ability to work with more than a single chakra.  However, its ability to crossover between chakras is limited to the second and third chakras only.  The second chakra resonates with the darker orange range of light frequencies, as does the usually darker orange Topaz.  These are the frequencies, which carry the body’s sexual energies.  The higher vibration of navel chakra, the chakra of creative power, is a lighter shade of orange, but primarily golden-yellow.  Topaz is also capable of empowering the lower ranges of the navel chakra to some degree.

With Topaz, the higher-self can participate to ensure the alignment between the chakra and the heavens, whenever the creative power is used.  The higher-self directs the expression of the chakras by bringing the higher frequencies from the soul, which correspond to the frequencies indigenous to the chakras.  Topaz gains a reputation for its contribution to the sexual and creative energies of the second and third chakras, but these are not the only vibrations enhanced by Topaz.

Once the soul and the physical plane align with each other, the increase in the amount of the soul’s creative light energy coming to Earth is significant.  Thereafter, the light frequencies acquired by the Topaz work to further empower the chakras’ energies and powers of creativity.  With more creative energy, the chakras provide an even more welcoming environment into which more of the higher frequencies of the soul descend.  Topaz helps create a place for the soul’s creative forces to come.

Let us return to the second chakra.  During the early millennia, the reproductive energies resided in the base chakra.  The alignment created by Topaz between the base chakra and the soul was the primary means to bring the sexual creative forces into the human body.  Consequently, the soul could more easily manipulate sexual reproduction by joining matter of specific quality.  It had great control over the selection process of reproduction.

Today’s base chakra is much changed.  In the modern era, some of this type of soul-directed guidance is still possible by using Topaz.  Again, Topaz of the darker orange variety resonates with the higher sexual energies of the pelvic second chakra.  It helps to open the second chakra to receive the creative frequencies of the soul.  Once opened, the will of the soul is asserted with greater effect upon the sexual drive of the individual in question.  While one might prefer to deny that species selection takes place in this way, the soul looks upon the process as a valuable tool for combining two entities with desirable qualities.  The process of sexual selection, similar to how it worked in the earliest of times, is based primarily on the individual’s ability to accept the soul’s light into his body.

If the striated piece of Topaz also has a natural termination, it is most valuable to the way that Topaz offers its light.

The Conclusion to Ant Oneness

            So whatever happened to the Ants?

            Ant Oneness it is!

            As we left our communication with the ants in the previous article, I had apologized to them for creating an ant-trap with sugar-water syrup.  The number that died in the sticky goop was not severe enough to affect their colony.  Their response to my apology was that a few dead ants were the same as construction-site injury statistics.  The loss was built-in as an expectation.  Apology accepted, yet they really were not concerned.

            The ants then went about their business.

            Well, I am not an ant, so what was their business?  I really cannot say.  That is, I had hoped to have the follow up article before this, yet I was not clear on what was going on.  I reorganized the sugar feeders by filling bottle caps with granulated white sugar and placing them under a glass jar to keep them dry when it rained.  Would they appreciate my innovation?

            The holes they had been making in the yard reduced in number, yet did not disappear entirely.  As summer passed, I noticed that the location of these “aerating” holes concentrated in the driest parts of the yard.  When I thought about it, dry soil would harden more than moist soil and be in need of aeration more than moist soil.  Maybe they knew something I did not know.

            One of the nice things about being on friendly terms with the ants was that they moved their housing project away from our house.  Previously, they established their colony under the concrete sidewalk pads that run beside the foundation.  The fine grains of soil that accumulated between the sidewalk pads disappeared altogether.  I have yet to see an ant inside the house.

            I had placed a statue of a golden Buddha on a stone pad in an unused part of the yard hoping they might relocate there. And they did!  I moved the stone pad enough to look beneath twice in the past two months because I was not sure they were in residence there.  No doubt, Ant Oneness was thriving under Buddha’s gaze.

            After a time, I also noticed a second colony located on the other side of the yard.  Their colony was right beside the grass but in the gravel, that borders our landscaped trees.  How polite!  The ants were immediate to the yard, but not in it.  The gravel was only a thin layer covering the topsoil, so they had lots of room to develop without creating a noticeable anthill.

            We have not spoken with the ants lately, but we are living in harmony.  They are no longer pests, but our ‘friends’; and they contribute to the well-being of the yard without creating a mess.

            We have decided to call our current relationship with the ants the ‘nirvana’ of Ant Oneness.  ‘Relief’ is another fitting description.  Our biggest lesson from this new relationship is that, indeed, all life forms are energies that have a place in God’s creation.  Because we can consciously facilitate the well-being of creatures that inhabit our space, doing so is our imperative.

            As other species thrive, so do we.

Channeling...Ashtar and the Ashtar Command

"The day will come when the men of Earth will rise up and call him (Ashtar) blessed who has served as leader of this volunteer force, guided their coordination, broadcast their messages to Earth in a multitude of ways, to spread the good news of the Kingdom of God on Earth. We salute the Ashtar Command and all that it embodies, as well as all that it has accomplished and shall accomplish for the fulfillment of the Will of God. Receive ye this great Man, with our blessings and our benediction. I AM Archangel Michael, of the Lord's Hosts."

IN HIS OWN WORDS…

Dear ones, my name is Ashtar. I am an etheric being from many, many planets, stars and incarnations. However, for billions of years, I have taken on one project, the project of populating many planets with "Star Seed", and the project of bringing those planets through evolution. Earth is not the only one! Still it was myself, among others, who brought life to Earth in the very beginning and I did this, as did others, mainly through intention and through the process of creation relative to the human being. Now, because the Earth is out of balance and because I have an interest in the people, I come to assist at this time, to see her through the evolution into the Fifth Dimension.

And so, I come as a shepherd, gathering together his sheep safely, carrying the ones who hurt, just being there for all of them, finding the strays and bringing them together. This is my task, at this time, relative to the Earth. Ashtar means "Shepherd". I am Ashtar, shepherd of the Earth.  I wish to bring to your awareness another shepherd, for there are many. This shepherd you know very well. His name is Jesus. Jesus was an incarnation on the Earth of a very high being,  known to those of the Light as Sananda. This one, of course, you all know personally. He is the  one to whom you pray. Jesus. Sananda.

Dearest ones, I work directly under the leadership of Sananda. Therefore, you know and understand that we of the etheric inter-dimensional forces work directly with the Light, with Jesus and with God. Your Heavenly Creator is the one whom we worship, just as you do. 

We are working with you as partners, to bring the Earth into a higher dimension. That is what is occurring and is what the Book of Revelation does not say. All of the changes upon the Earth are cleansings to prepare for this and they are explained in Revelation. It would be helpful for you to read that book, the last chapter in the Bible. As you read, you will see and you will understand there are prophesies, and that on the Earth those prophesies are being fulfilled right now. I give you these words with much love, dear ones. I give you these words in order to bring understanding to your heart.  I bring you these suggestions so you will be able to look deeper and understand better. I wish to thank you at this time...all of you who are of the stars...who are awakening to the reality that is not in the history books. These realities are coming through in the form of channelings, realizations, insights and dreams. Dear ones, I suggest that you get together with others of your philosophy, either by postal mail, by email, or in person, so you can discuss these matters, and thereby understand more.

Daily, dear ones, invoke the Light upon your entire being, your life, and your loved ones. The White Light is your protection and it is a beam through which we, in the Heaven Worlds, can guide you.

This is Ashtar, helping you with information, as you are ready to receive it.


And also… From a channeling through Ashtar's Trinity in which Ashtar was asked about his 'origins':

Janisel: Can you settle the little question (from the list) about where you're from as far as this chain of planets on the other side of Venus?

Ashtar: *sigh* May I explain something please? There are those that walk upon the face of this planet that are very open minded and highly enlightened about Beings being from elsewhere....as long as they remain in this galaxy. I can say that I have had a past life on what used to be referred to as Venus' "sister-planet", which is no longer here. I can also say that my true origins, as far as where my first incarnation birth was, no longer exists. If any wish to know my origins now, you may be completely free in telling them, "I am a Being of Light from the Heart of the Creator, that manifests when and where needed."


And yet another piece of the puzzle…
From Ashtar through Ashtar's Trinity at a public channeling:

Ashtar: I have come in to introduce myself. The essence of my Being, in what you refer to as this incarnation, is my title as 'Commander'… in your English terms. Technically, it doesn't sound anything at all like that, but I accept that title. And I am referred to in this incarnation as Ashtar. Some refer to me as Ashtar Sheran… that is not me. The 'Ashtar' is, the 'Sheran' is my father's name, and some seem to think that we are one and the same. They are highly mistaken!


WHAT IS THE ASHTAR COMMAND?

Without resorting to the use of channelings which abound on the Internet as to what the Ashtar Command is, let us give a very simple explanation. The Command is the cohesive organization, under the ultimate direction of Lord Sananda, which has come together for the sole purpose of overseeing the safety and spiritual development of Earth and all her inhabitants. It is composed of various Races and Species from throughout this Universe as well as some from other Universes. The question has often been asked, "Are Beings such as the Greys and Reptilians part of the Command?" The answer to that is, "Yes." One cannot lump all off-world Beings into a category of either 'good' or 'bad' anymore than you could say all Earth humans are either 'good' or 'bad'. All Races and Species have their share of both of these energetics. You may feel assured, however, that all those working within the Ashtar Command are of a higher-vibrational nature and all within the Command are working for the good of Earth mankind. The Command, however, is not composed of simply 'aliens' from other planets, galaxies or dimensions. It also includes the Angelic Realms and those working in their behalf.  Their craft have surrounded and monitored Earth for billions of years, ever watching, ever protecting, and ever loving, ensuring our safety, our sovereignty, and most of all our freewill choice. So look to the skies, and if you see one of our space brothers and sisters, give a heartfelt 'wave' and say "Thank you, God!"

Spirit Calls... Beyond Tree Hugging

    A short while ago, My wife, Judy, called me at work to tell me that I needed to talk to one of the five big pine trees in our backyard. I was surprised because talking to trees is easy enough; we have both done this before. We have some shamanic background; and we both channel the Ascended Masters.
     The particular pine that wanted to speak with us is not the first tree in our backyard to express itself. We have a “May Tree” that calls itself a “healing tree”. But, its version of ‘healing’ may not be what one would expect. The landscapers that worked on our yard well before we arrived had split the trunk of the May Tree so that it grew with four main trunks, rather that one primary trunk. At the time I spoke to it, disease had been invading its limbs. Both the tree and the nature spirits helped me to prune the dead and diseased branches. Several branches had been removed at some point thus leaving scars. The reason the May Tree called itself a ‘healing’ tree, and in a tone of disappointed resignation, is that throughout its life, it had to undergo one form of healing or another―-split trunk, scars, disease, and more. The unfortunate May Tree had been on the mend since the very beginning of its life. It was always healing.
    Another tree that not only speaks to us, but also works with us, is our Mountain Ash Tree. When we first conversed with it, it let us know that it was a “Rowan” tree, which is another name for Mountain Ash. Druid lore recognizes the Rowan tree for its healing ability. The Druids also made wands and staffs from the Rowan tree because of its magical powers. In harmony with the natural flow of events, Judy and I created what we call our “Angels’ Sanctuary” in the shade of the Rowan tree and the large pine next to it. Both Judy and I, as well as many of our lightworker friends, have sat in Angels’ Sanctuary to balance, to ground, and to experience the healing of our Rowan tree. It quite effectively removes a person’s negative energies and sends them into the higher planes where they transmute to light. Sitting in the shade and the embrace of our Rowan tree is always a moment of heavenly peace.
    On the day that Judy assigned me to speak to the pine tree, she had been doing yard work, at which time the pine had said to her to pick up the pinecones. Because Judy was single-minded about her task, and because she was picking up a sense of the pine tree’s agitation, she was unable to receive any further directions as to what the tree wanted. Was the tree agitated because Judy did not understand its message, or was it agitated for some other reason?
    Fortunately, it was not the dead of winter and the weather was beautiful. I set about my task by first lying on the ground under the pine tree. I slipped into a mild meditative state. I just direct my attention to the tree knowing that I will pick up the impressions it intends. The pine tree told me that it needed to be itself in a larger sense. It actually said that it wanted to ‘Rise Higher’. It offered the vision that it saw itself in our yard as its purpose on Earth. It indicated that it was at peace and in harmony with the pruning that I had done to keep it off the garden shed roof. It also said that it was at peace with the fact that our yard was groomed to the point that there was no more room for any other trees.
    What pine tree meant when it expressed the need to expand was that, as a tree and as a living organism, its purpose on Earth was to extend its life beyond itself. It needed to procreate. It needed to have baby-trees―-hence, its first request to pick up the pinecones. The pine tree wanted us to gather the pinecones, take them to somewhere in the natural landscape, and spread its pinecones around. Indeed, the tree wanted to be itself as a parent.
    We got it!
    Within the next week, Judy gathered up the pinecones into a couple of shopping bags and took them to Fish Creek Provincial Park to cast them on the ground along the banks of Fish Creek, which is about a mile from our home. She told me afterward that, at the moment that she began to spread them around, she felt the tree sigh in relief. She said she sensed that the tree’s feeling of self-fulfillment displaced its agitation.
    Our backyard trees have served us well in so many ways. We were both touched and grateful that we were able to serve one of them in this small and humbling way.

Astrology Grand CrossTime of Radical Shift--- A Look into the Coming Cycle

    We are in the beginning of a very unique time in history that will redefine the foundations of our lives. The astrological circumstances are uncommon and very dramatic. Change is likely to affect every level of our being, even though each person will feel it differently and in varying degrees of intensity.

    There are multiple planetary bodies that are gradually forming a very particular and rare alignment. This configuration began to form during the fall of 2008. Politically, that time was when the economical crisis exploded and when US president Barack Obama was elected. The configuration will move into a second phase during November 2009 and January/February 2010. (Saturn will move into the Cardinal sign of Libra and will form powerful angle to Pluto in Capricorn)...

    The third phase is probably the most dramatic and intense, and will occur from the end of June to the end of July 2010,when all the factors of the configuration will align together in a cross at the very beginning of Cardinal signs in astrology. Cardinal signs are the signs of new cycles. The planets in questions are Pluto, Uranus, Saturn, Jupiter, and Mars.

    These planets are slow moving bodies and therefore it is absolutely exceptional that these slow moving bodies end up all aligned in a cross on these very sensitive degrees! In normal circumstances, some people go through changes while others continue their routine. Here the alignment is so strong and dramatic that everyone's life can be considerably affected, it is likely that your life will not be the same by fall 2010!

    The question that often arises is:" Is it bad, or is it good?" The answer is that it depends on the way one deals with the events; a conscious approach can make a difference. One thing for certain: do not expect security, consistency, and predictability during this time. Reality is bound to change fast and so it is better to move with the flow, while remaining conscious of what is going on. Flexibility is one of the most important assets during this time.

    This influence is analogous to a gigantic wave forming; you can ride on that wave and go farther than ever expected -experience a powerful transformation that can elevate you to new grounds. But this wave can also destroy a lot of what you are currently attached to.

    Redefinition may occur in different fields: you may change vocation, relation-ships, location, mindsets, to name but a few. New people will move into your life, current ones may leave. New ideas and projects will develop and you may feel inspired to completely reinvent yourself! The cards are re-shuffled! This is a time of an awakening, a revolution; an internal and social revolution. Everything is shaking up, everything, from November 2009 until August 2010, nothing will stay still. It can be very good, but you have to learn to navigate these changes and seize opportunity when it comes. Don't try to have it all perfect, don't try to keep the cake and eat it: change can take you to a completely new and perhaps higher level of what you are about, but you will have to let go of your security during this time.

    It is a time for risk, reinvention, new ideas, new concepts, new vision, and the impetus to make it happen. Marriages may break, jobs and possessions may be lost, people may get sick, and simultaneously, new relationships may emerge, new passion may awaken, a completely new lifestyle is in the making...You are embarking on an adventure whether you know it or not, whether you like it or not.

    My suggestion: make peace with the idea, don't resist the adventure. If you are accepting it, you will make the best of it. If you fight and resist it, you won't win.  This is what I mean by being open to risk taking, it may be time to take that "plunge!"

    Risking does not mean giving in to every silly venture. It is about hearing a calling for truth, things you have denied, postponed, avoided, feared, but things you know were true. This is a time to be more truthful and follow a calling.

    Collectively, while the forces of corruption and manipulation may attempt to control the course of events, they are bound to disintegrate. Scandals will continue to hit the news, Natural events will continue to shake the earth. At worst, a war may break during summer 2010 or later because dramatic changes can spur fear and conflict... But it does not have to go that way; we are creators of our own destiny in the midst of the given circumstances.

    As you go through these changes, it is crucial that you take good care of your immune system because as positive as changes may be, they can overwhelm you and weaken your immune system: eat more healthy, avoid fast sugar, ingest raw garlic and onions daily (sandwich), exercise, take time out of the intensity loop, do not let negativity take over-these are basic tips that can keep you grounded.

    Importantly: the situation heating up is like a piece of molten iron that can be beaten into a better form-personally and collectively. Be an ambassador of good and avoid wasting time on trivial details.

    For example, as we see the earth being depleted and all resources and species dwindling, people waste time arguing if global warming is or is not happening, if it is man-made or not! IT DOESN'T MATTER! What matters is that the natural world is vanishing before our eyes because of our misaligned actions: excessive pollution, deforestation, and peaking toxicity levels are a reality beyond global warming debates. Similarly, the economy is not likely to stabilize any time soon, but perhaps, necessarily so. And so it will be with many other aspects of your life ... you will not have immediate answers. Be patient and keep doing your best. When the cycle will complete, new circumstances will emerge... This cannot be artificially rushed.

    These dramatic times are an opportunity for us to restructure our lives, personally and collectively. As many things are being redefined, we can relinquish bad habits and attachments, open up to new ideas, and invest in what works rather than settle for immediate gratification. Patience is another essential asset.

    In this context, do not expect others to change for the better if you don't do it yourself. We blame the governments and project our frustration on distant "evils," but fail to open our hearts ourselves. Being pro-active may work better than being self-righteous.

    Understand this is an opportunity to reinvent ourselves in a better way.  Understand there will be a price to pay, something may need to go.  If you lose something or someone, understand this is the sign of these times, use a crisis to venture into new horizons and create something new.  Understand this is an adventure and risk must be taken.  Understand that this is not a time when we can expect security-we are in transition...

    Listen to your inner truth, make you life truly happen now.  Take care of your immune system: avoid bad diets in general they render you vulnerable to opportunistic viruses.Support your friends and family, we all shall need one another for support during this transition time.Cultivate your spiritual practice: this is also important for your immune system.Do your best to do good: whatever you seed now will have effect now and later.

    There is probably more than can be said and explained, but you get the point. An incredible opportunity is arising, now and throughout 2010, this type of cycle has not happened in recent history. We can expect a certain level of destruction to occur-that is the price to pay, but the prospect of experiencing an awakening and creating a better future is now within reach. We are now in the midst of a revolution - a cultural, social, and political revolution. On a personal level, it is a conceptual, emotional, and or spiritual revolution, truly, it is in the making!

    The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse, which occurs on June 26 at 5 Capricorn, is one of the major astrological events of this year. This eclipse forms an exact conjunction with Pluto and a cardinal grand cross that also includes Mercury, Saturn and Jupiter/Uranus. Capricorn rules the government, organizations, real estate and one's career, and has the traits of being responsible, cautious, conventional and controlling. The Pluto alignment represents the need for power and control, but it can also be the choice to empower others. With Mercury in Cancer as the fastest moving planet, compassionate heart-centered communication will be very important.

   This grand cross also aligns with the Super Galactic Center at 2 Libra, which has the potential of awakening us to the true nature of our galactic origins and destiny. We have already seen an increase in earth changes and political events, with more dramatic changes likely to unfold later in the summer.The Sabian symbol for the sun in Cancer eclipse degree refers to "the tragic results likely to occur when the individual's will pits itself carelessly against the power of the collective will of society." There is more empowerment from working towards the good of the whole rather than just for individual self-interest. The symbol for the moon in Capricorn degree refers to "the mobilization of physical and emotional energies in a spirit of conquest." Our own inner forces of transformation will soon be energized by these powerful cardinal cross energies.

Cardinal T Square leading into 6.26 ECLIPSE

 Cancer starts in the throes of two Cardinal T Squares this year!  The 19th the Sun squared Saturn (still in Virgo), 21st, today, squares Uranus, 23rd squares Jupiter, 25, is opposite Pluto, the final aspect.  The very next day, is the June 26 Lunar Eclipse Full Moon at 4 Capricorn, which happens to be the degree Pluto, the last planet in the  T Square is at!!!  This series of three squares, finished by the opposition, are a powerful precursor to the Eclipse!  The Eclipse is the disseminator of the  T Square , like an Angel spreading its wings in the sky!  The Moon, the planet of Cancer, arrives at the final planet of the T, Pluto, the planet of Scorpio.  Moon is nurturing; Scorpio is healing through letting go, forgiveness, sharing, the  Phoenix rising from its own ashes!  Nothing short of miraculous!


Sun square Saturn in Virgo puts light on frets and worries, pushes past tired rules, steps up the tempo, puts heart in the picture.Sun square Uranus reminds that the Self, one person, makes a difference in a group, may be empowered by being in the right group.  Sun square Jupiter may be overzealous or lazy, but one way or the other, the need to more forward is identified, the truth breaks through!

Sun opposite Pluto, knows it could do it alone, but will do better to engage and include both sides, the best each has to offer.  Moon with Pluto opposite Sun, the Eclipse, opens the heart, crosses the Threshold!  It will take some courage and hard work.


June 24, 25, 26, 27, Mercury runs through the same T Square!  It brings more attention and focus, but expect mixed effects in communications, local travel, what you do with your hands, how you breathe.  The whole couple of weeks before will be on your mind.  How you listen, how you respond, your mental posture will be key.  Could be wise to get more info, think things through, wait before you respond to important matters.


Expect delays and what seem like mistakes, more steps are needed than usual.  Take your time, see how you could make things better.  The Full Moon widens the angle, opens the embrace.  You may uncover secrets, need to reveal or keep secrets.  You may come to a profound but unsettling understanding, for better or worse.  Above all, be as kind as you can.


The coming June 26 eclipse will have an especially strong impact because Uranus will be in sharp angle to the full moon eclipse and Sun. Also, Saturn will oppose Uranus and Jupiter, while Pluto will conjoin the full moon and argue with the other planets. All will square off at 90 degrees to each other, or stare at one another at 180 degrees, forming a cross pattern in the sky - this is considered stressful.


We have not seen such an extreme eclipse in years. Actually, astrologers have gone back 500 years and we have not been able to find anything like the one that is due June 26. Let me reiterate that not everyone will feel the events of June 26, and that is an important point.  Events that come up as a result of an eclipse have more weight than events brought on by a normal new or full moon. In fact, an eclipse is like a turbo-new or full moon - it packs much more energy and punch and feels like three rolled into one. An eclipse may even bring on an event that seems "fated." Eclipses always bring unexpected changes of direction.  The eclipse does not have to fall in your sign to affect you, but it would have to be within a ten-degree range of a natal planet in your chart. In this case you would need a natal planet within ten degrees of 5 degrees of a cardinal sign: Aries, Libra, Cancer, or Capricorn. I can't see your chart from here, so it's just wise to wait and see. With Uranus so prominent, what comes up will be completely unexpected anyway, coming out of left field, but I can narrow things down for you.


Eclipses in the same family of signs tend to be connected like pearls on a necklace. It is as though the universe realizes that we can't handle too much big news all at once, so it is divided up into pieces. We are given news of something that is changing or needs to be changed, but further information does not come until the next eclipse, at which time we are ready to move forward.


For this reason, think back to what occurred on December 31 and just after January 15 for clues, for those were the last times we had eclipses in this family of signs.  Eclipses shine the bright light of truth on the part of your life that is touched by the eclipse. Most of the time, eclipses act as brilliant illuminators, revealing a condition that you were unaware existed. They can also act as catalysts to a major life decision. Also under an eclipse, you may finally understand the true character of a person near you.  With all eclipses, something ends and something else begins. During an eclipse period, you may feel like you are walking across a bridge to a new place of the mind and heart, but with no ability to turn back to where you started. Said another way, the door of part of your old life will slam shut and lock tightly behind you as you walk over the threshold. You won't be able to go back to your old life after the eclipse, but upon reflection, you might not want to anymore. You have grown, and now you are ready to face the future with all the surprises and gifts the universe will have ready for you. Armed with the necessary facts, you will now understand a mystery that was never clear to you before. The universe wants us to embrace all that is new, not go back to the old tried and true.


In about six months, we will have another set of eclipses coming on December 21, a total lunar eclipse (full moon) in late degrees of Gemini and on  January 4, 2011 , a solar eclipse (new moon) in Capricorn. The December 21 eclipse will begin to usher in a new series of eclipses in Gemini-Sagittarius, just as the old series of Cancer-Capricorn, begun last summer on  June 7, 2009 , begins to wind down and officially end on July 1, 2011 . Often when a new family of signs starts up, an old family of signs ends.

Love and the Pink Tourmaline

In the Early ‘90’s, I acquired a couple of very nice cut gemstones of pink tourmaline in a Chinese auction for the low, low price of $60. They immediately went into the very blessed pearl-shell carrying-case that I received from Gurumayi Chidvalasanda, Siddha Yoga Guru, when I visited her ashram in 1990. I knew even then that these stones would eventually be placed in an appropriate setting to be given to my wife at the time of our marriage. In the meantime, Gurumayi’s pearl-shell case would protect them (for the next 14 years).

Why would my heart be so set for so long on keeping them as a wedding gift?

Love to be sure!

Tourmaline is not among the old Earth stones. It is a new age stone and has gained recognition over only the past decade. Its vibration is an exquisite expression of the love of the angelic realms. Think of it as having a high and heavenly refined resonance that works to prepare our own vibrations for the coming light that will gently shift us into position for the completion of our round on Earth and ease us upward towards the ascension. Completion on Earth is exactly that—on Earth. Tourmaline works with us as we walk the Earth to fulfill our responsibilities as incarnate individuals. Tourmaline might inject us with the nectar of the heavens, yet its job of shifting our vibrations is third dimensional. Its focus is directed to our daily lives.

You may be aware of the variety of colours of tourmaline, namely black, green, aqua, pink, and the combinations that give it the name: rainbow tourmaline. Each carries the magnificence of angelic vibration, yet each colour also works in its own specific way. I must add that the way each colour works is quite different from each of the other colours. Their individual contributions to light on Earth are not even close to each other.

Where was I? Ahh, yes! Love to be sure. Pink tourmaline.

As with any tourmaline, pink tourmaline works with our bodily physical vibration to bring it to a higher state. Pink is a heart colour, and tourmaline takes the vibration of the physical heart beyond the limits of Earthly love. It opens the channels to the soul and beyond, to the heart of our higher self.

It works with our love vibration within a 20-foot radius around our body. It establishes a connection between our Earthly space and our higher self along a pathway of the love vibration. In the planes of the higher self, love abounds without limit. The communion between our higher self and any other higher self is love without question. On Earth, any person coming into our 20’ space undergoes a vibrational shift that completes a circuit between our physical selves and our higher selves. Love touches us here and in the heavens.

If you come into the space of someone wearing pink tourmaline, you will be affected by his or her love. It’s irresistible. In addition, the accompanying connection with both higher selves ensures that heavenly energies descend to enhance the already apparent love. The higher self of the person wearing the pink tourmaline will actively participate to establish love, encourage love, and protect love; and it does so lovingly and in conjunction with the higher self of any other individual in the vicinity. An individual’s consciousness of the experience will depend on his or her individual conscious development. Both persons may be very aware, or not aware at all.

Interestingly, if the person that contacts the wearer is not a loving person, his or her own higher self will intervene. An unloving vibration cannot remain in the presence of love. The other’s higher self will step in to remove him or her from the wearer’s presence—he or she leaves without much adieu.

If the person that contacts the wearer of pink tourmaline is a loving person, he or she will be drawn to love's ways and bask in love’s glow. The two persons will share a heightened vibration of love, which is certified by both higher selves.

Does this explain why I gave pink tourmaline to my wife on our wedding day?

The Great Cholesterol LIE

"Without inflammation, cholesterol would not accumulate in the walls of blood
vessels and cause heart disease."

We physicians with all our training, knowledge and authority often acquire a rather large ego that tends to make it difficult to admit we are wrong. So, here it is. I freely admit to being wrong.. As a heart surgeon with 25 years experience, having performed over 5,000 open-heart surgeries, today is my day to right the wrong with medical and scientific fact. I trained for many years with other prominent physicians labelled "opinion makers."  Bombarded with scientific literature, continually attending education seminars, we opinion makers insisted heart disease resulted from the simple fact of elevated blood cholesterol.

The only accepted therapy was prescribing medications to lower cholesterol and a diet that severely restricted fat intake. The latter of course we insisted would lower cholesterol and heart disease. Deviations from these recommendations were considered heresy and could quite possibly result in malpractice.

It Is Not Working!

These recommendations are no longer scientifically or morally defensible.  The discovery a few years ago that inflammation in the artery wall is the real cause of heart disease is slowly leading to a paradigm shift in how heart disease and other chronic ailments will be treated. The long-established dietary recommendations have created epidemics of obesity and diabetes, the consequences of which dwarf any historical plague in terms of mortality, human suffering and dire economic consequences. Despite the fact that 25% of the population takes expensive statin medications and despite the fact we have reduced the fat content of our diets, more Americans will die this year of heart disease than ever before. Statistics from the American Heart Association show that 75 million Americans currently suffer from heart disease, 20 million have diabetes and 57 million have pre-diabetes. These disorders are affecting younger and younger people in greater numbers every year.

Simply stated, without inflammation being present in the body, there is no way that cholesterol would accumulate in the wall of the blood vessel and cause heart disease and strokes. Without inflammation, cholesterol would move freely throughout the body as nature intended. It is inflammation that causes cholesterol to become trapped. Inflammation is not complicated -- it is quite simply your body's natural defence to a foreign invader such as a bacteria, toxin or virus. The cycle of inflammation is perfect in how it protects your body from these bacterial and viral invaders. However, if we chronically expose the body to injury by toxins or foods the human body was never designed to process, a condition occurs called chronic inflammation.  Chronic inflammation is just as harmful as acute inflammation is beneficial.  What thoughtful person would wilfully expose himself repeatedly to foods or other substances that are known to cause injury to the body? Well, smokers perhaps, but at least they made that choice wilfully.

The rest of us have simply followed the recommended mainstream diet that is low in fat and high in polyunsaturated fats and carbohydrates, not knowing we were causing repeated injury to our blood vessels. This repeated injury creates chronic inflammation leading to heart disease, stroke, diabetes and obesity. Let me repeat that. The injury and inflammation in our blood vessels is caused by the low fat diet that has been recommended for years by mainstream medicine.

What are the biggest culprits of chronic inflammation? Quite simply, they are the overload of simple,  highly processed carbohydrates (sugar, flour and all the products made from them) and the excess consumption of omega-6 vegetable oils like soybean, corn and sunflower that are found in many processed foods.

Take a moment to visualize rubbing a stiff brush repeatedly over soft skin until it becomes quite red and nearly bleeding. Let's say you kept this up several times a day, every day for five years. If you could tolerate this painful brushing, you would have a bleeding, swollen infected area that became worse with each repeated injury. This is a good way to visualize the inflammatory process that could be going on in your body right now.  Regardless of where the inflammatory process occurs, externally or internally, it is the same. I have peered inside thousands upon thousands of arteries. A diseased artery looks as if someone took a brush and scrubbed repeatedly against its wall. Several times a day, every day, the foods we eat create small injuries compounding into more injuries, causing the body to respond continuously and appropriately with inflammation.

While we savor the tantalizing taste of a sweet roll, our bodies respond alarmingly as if a foreign invader had arrived, declaring war. Foods loaded with sugars and simple carbohydrates, or processed with omega-6 oils for long shelf life have been the mainstay of the American diet for six decades.

These foods have been slowly poisoning everyone.

How does eating a simple sweet roll create a cascade of inflammation to make you sick? Imagine spilling syrup on your keyboard and you have a visual of what occurs inside the cell. When we consume simple carbohydrates such as sugar, blood sugar rises rapidly. In response, your pancreas secretes Insulin, whose primary purpose is to drive sugar into each cell where it is stored for energy. If the cell is full and does not need glucose, it is rejected to avoid extra sugar gumming up the works. When your full cells reject the extra glucose, blood sugar rises producing more insulin and the glucose converts to stored fat.

What does all this have to do with inflammation? Blood sugar is controlled in a very narrow range. Extra sugar molecules attach to a variety of proteins that in turn injure the blood vessel wall. This repeated injury to
the blood vessel wall sets off inflammation. When you spike your blood sugar level several times a day, every day, it is exactly like taking sandpaper to the inside of your delicate blood vessels. While you may not be able to see it, rest assured it is there. I saw it in over 5,000 surgical patients spanning 25 years who all shared one common denominator -inflammation in their arteries.

Let's get back to the sweet roll. That innocent looking goody not only contains sugars, it is baked in one of many omega-6 oils such as soybean.  Chips and fries are soaked in soybean oil; processed foods are manufactured with omega-6 oils for longer shelf life. While omega-6's are essential, they are part of every cell membrane controlling what goes in and out of the cell, they must be in the correct balance with omega-3's.

If the balance shifts by consuming excessive omega-6, the cell membrane produces chemicals called cytokines that directly cause inflammation. Today's mainstream American diet has produced an extreme imbalance of these two fats. The ratio of imbalance ranges from 15:1 to as high as 30:1 in favor of omega-6. That is a tremendous amount of cytokines causing inflammation. In today's food environment, a 3:1 ratio would be optimal and healthy.

To make matters worse, the excess weight you are carrying from eating these foods creates overloaded fat cells that pour out large quantities of pro-inflammatory chemicals that add to the injury caused by having high blood sugar. The process that began with a sweet roll turns into a vicious cycle over time that creates heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes and finally, Alzheimer's disease, as the inflammatory process continues unabated.

There is no escaping the fact that the more we consume prepared and processed foods, the more we trip the inflammation switch little by little each day. The human body cannot process, nor was it designed to consume, foods packed with sugars and soaked in omega-6 oils. There is but one answer to quieting inflammation, and that is returning to foods closer to their natural state. To build muscle, eat more protein. Choose carbohydrates that are very complex such as colourful fruits and vegetables. Cut down on or eliminate inflammation-causing omega-6 fats like corn and soybean oil and the processed foods that are made from them. One tablespoon of corn oil contains 7,280 mg of omega-6; soybean contains 6,940 mg. Instead, use olive oil or butter from grass-fed beef. Animal fats contain less than 20% omega-6 and are much less likely to cause inflammation than the supposedly healthy oils labelled polyunsaturated. Forget the "science" that has been drummed into your head for decades. The "science" that saturated fat alone causes heart disease is non-existent. The "science" that saturated fat raises blood cholesterol is also very weak. Since we now know that cholesterol is not the cause of heart disease, the concern about saturated fat is even more absurd today. The cholesterol theory led to the no-fat, low-fat recommendations that in turn created the very foods now causing an epidemic of inflammation.

Mainstream medicine made a terrible mistake when it advised people to avoid saturated fat in favour of foods high in omega-6 fats. We now have an epidemic of arterial inflammation leading to heart disease and other silent killers.

What you can do is choose whole foods your grandmother served and not those your mom turned to as grocery store aisles filled with manufactured foods.  By eliminating inflammatory foods and adding essential nutrients from fresh unprocessed food, you will reverse years of damage in your arteries and throughout your body from consuming the typical American diet.

There’s More Than One Magic Carpet

Sit in meditation. Breathe in the serenity.  Take your consciousness higher.  Feel the frequencies of light caress your body’s vibration.  So it is!  As light comes into the body, vibration rises.

Light, my friends, is all around us awaiting the readiness of our bodily forms to jump in.  The light all around, however, is the light that entered the physical plane, came into the Earth’s gravitational pull, passed through the Earth’s protective etheric magnetic field, entered the atmosphere, descended to the planet’s surface, and found its way to our body.

As enlightening as this may sound, it also means that we on Earth are limited to the light that can make the journey into our local space.  Meditation and its contingent elevated consciousness can expand the range of light available to us by a considerable margin.  Yet, so can aeroplanes. 

Yes, Air Canada is your alternative magic carpet!

Any external light frequencies coming to Earth as physical manifestations first enter the atmosphere.  Yet, they can only enter if the etheric body of the Earth allows them to so through its attraction and repulsion functions.  The closer to Earth, the stronger is the filtering capacity of the etheric magnetic field.  At the surface, the etherics are a very strong filter, but at cruising altitude for a commercial jet, the etherics are much thinner.  At altitude, therefore, light frequencies from other parts of the universe are in much greater abundance.

A flight on an aeroplane offers a scenic view and a host of empowering light frequencies that are unavailable at sea level.  Frequent flyers have the advantage of being exposed to light that will contribute to their spiritual growth.  The body naturally assimilates the light available.  When the light available includes a significantly expanded range of frequencies, the body’s vibration expands beyond the potentials of surface dwellers.

Imagine the light that an astronaut experiences beyond the Earth’s gravitational pull.  In space, the range of frequencies available would go beyond light meant for Earth.  The astronaut’s body experiences light frequencies intended to enlighten Jupiter, Venus, and Mars.  Light passing through our solar system would also include frequencies from the thousands of stars in the night sky and any light that was able to enter the physical plane from higher dimensions.

As I sit writing this article, I am not on an aeroplane.  I am in Calgary at 3,200’ above sea level (ASL).  I am exposed to light that has a greater range of frequencies than at sea level and glad for it.  While the gift of higher altitudes is inviting, the original magic carpet is still the best.  Aeroplanes and higher ground, even the moon-mission space craft, are still limited to the physical plane.  When a person meditates, depending on that person’s spiritual development, the consciousness can move into places that are much higher than planes or space shuttles.  In meditation, the consciousness is capable of transcending dimensions.  It can be exposed to light frequencies from beyond the physical plane.  As some of this higher dimensional light will inevitably return with the person’s consciousness, the benefit is obvious.

Whatever your fancy, meditation or mountain climbing, the light is there for you.  There is more than one magic carpet.

Sedona’s Bell Rock

    All is well when you walk in the vortex energies of Sedona, Arizona, as it was when I hiked Bell Rock.  Going to Sedona is like taking a bath in the light of ancient sanctuaries.  Long has the Red Rock basin of this special area held the space for light coming to Earth.  It is one of Earth’s major light stations.

    I had climbed Bell rock before.  It was 1994 then, and without a local guide to point the way, I did not find the route to the top.  With my wife by my side this time, the thought of going to the top seemed even more remote.

    The National forest Service has developed the hiking trails to accommodate the less spirited hiker.  These trails skirt the base of Bell Rock; they are well marked; yet the terrain is still too rugged for wheelchair access.  Later that day, the two young men that I knew were heading to the top were not in wheelchairs.  Nor were they keen on letting their presence be known.  Climbing to the top is no longer an approved activity.

    Two things about Bell Rock stuck out.  The first was the odd growth of the trees.  The second came from my angelic guidance.

    Bell Rock is an energy vortex that receives higher dimensional energy in a counter-clockwise swirl around its form.  Light frequencies for empowerment, and the same light that comes in such abundance, give Sedona its sacred place in the enlightenment of the planet.  Living organisms that take up their home in the immediate area dwell in the swirling vortex.  Its energies shape their forms.  The trees are the most recognizable benefactors.  Throughout the Sedona basin, and especially on Bell Rock, the trees grow into twisted shapes.  Their growth patterns follow the flow of vortex energies.  Just looking at the trees on the side of Bell Rock, the twists in the trees' trunks catches one as being a local oddity.  The presence of such a visible sign of the high energies of the vortex was truly a comfort.  I knew that heaven on Earth was close at hand.

    The second thing that stuck out was the immense burst of population growth.  Sedona increased by 10,000 people since my last trip.  Deducing that the vortex energies attracted a lot of people was not a stretch.  Looking around though, I had to ask if the consciousness was higher or lower.  Of course, guides from the heavens do not contemplate such judgments.  Their perspective pointed to the overall picture.  The Earth’s empowerment has been going on for a long time.  Sedona has been a light station bringing light to Earth for a long time, as well.  The immediate need to maintain specific light stations has given way to the generalized enlightenment of the planet on a global scale.  Earth is no longer in the dark ages.  The cold war is over, and even George Bush’s reign of terror-by-design has passed.  The light stations of Earth are now so firmly rooted; and the empowerment of Earth is so widespread that the formerly pressing need for specific anchor points for light has also passed.

    The light coming to Sedona is as powerful as it has ever been, yet Sedona is no longer in isolation.  The rest of the planet is rapidly catching up.  There is no longer a need to maintain the pristine purity of Sedona’s vibration.  The consciousness of the Sedona area vacillates more than before and with the increase in population lower consciousness has displaced higher consciousness to some degree.  Yet, in the same way, in other places on Earth, higher consciousness has displaced lower consciousness.  Therefore, the larger overall consciousness remains in balance and is rising steadily.

   With a steady movement upward in a global sense, the need for specific light stations having pristine vibrations that are almost the only place to which the heavens can connect is no more.  The heavens, our souls, our guides, and those who want to work with the Earth can do so without making the step of incarnating.  Communication with the heavens is getting quite commonplace in all but the darkest places on Earth.  The population explosion in Sedona, then, brings lower consciousness, yet lower consciousness is no longer a concern.  The light station works well enough, although not as well as before.  The light needed on Earth has numerous geographical locations to which it can be projected.  Bell Rock and the Sedona basin remain as monoliths of high vibration to which light is attracted, but they no longer carry an air of exclusivity.  May the light shine everywhere!

Healing by Light or by Doctor

“And behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: for she said within herself, 'If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.' But Jesus turned (him) about, and when he saw her, he said, “Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole.” And the woman was made whole from that hour. (Matthew 9:20-22)”

The healing power of the Christ light is well known. As Jesus implied, healing takes place where the faith is strong. We, of the light, all have the Christ light within and therefore have the power of healing. But how much of the light of Christ do we have within? And, how much of the power of healing can we lay claim to?

Jesus did emphasize that healing did require faith.

I confess. I have experienced healings here and there that came from my faith in the light. Yet, I also confess that my first impulse when I suffer a flesh wound is to rush off to the emergency room for stitches. Even though the blood stopped gushing from the wound as soon as I had “laid on the hands”, I was convinced that I was only applying pressure. Was my faith strong enough? Was I using my powers of healing?

The answer is yes!

“Yes”, however, is an answer that takes the larger universe into account. We live in the third dimension, on Earth, and breathe oxygen. It’s all so physical. The light that does the healing, and my faith in the light are grounded in physical density.

Ant Oneness

We are One in the Universe.
Really?
Really!

We are One in humanity; we are One in nature; we are One with the oceans; we are one with the Earth, our solar system, and all that is. And, as our story begins, we are one with the ants in our backyard. Fortunately, they agreed not to invade our kitchen.

The stories of the native shaman talking to the buffalo, wolves, and deer are true, I am sure. Yet, I have not heard of any of them talking to the ants. For the past couple of years, ants have been in our yard creating colonies here and there, and we have used hot water and even chemicals to try to get rid of them. To no avail!
This year all that changed. As an up and coming shaman, Judy asked the universe what we could do about the ants. The answer came back to her right away, and from the ants themselves!

By asking, we indicated that we no longer wished to challenge their presence, so they answered her query. Almost immediately, they trumpeted the goodness of their contribution to our yard. They pointed out that they had been busy aerating our lawn. Sure enough, the lawn was quite evenly dotted with ant holes no more than an inch across and spaced about a foot or so apart. A few years ago, we paid a company to come and punch holes in the lawn. Was that aeration? The punched holes were very hard on the weaker parts of the lawn. In contrast, the ant holes did not disturb the root system of the grass, even a little bit.

The ants went on to tell Judy that they wanted to participate in the well-being of the yard. They were quite willing to take up residence in a place in the yard that was agreeable to us; and they wanted us to put plain white sugar near the appropriate location.

Oh how it is that ‘dense’ consciousness weighs heavy!

Almost right away I took a jar of sugar with holes punched in the lid, and placed it at the far corner of the yard quite out of the way. Days later, the jar had not been touched. The ants reiterated their willingness to participate, but said they wanted a more accessible location. Realizing that my first gesture still held the vibration that basically said I wanted to rid them from our yard, I then moved the sugar jar to a place that I thought would be appropriate.

At the time I relocated the jar, I also put about a quarter cup of water into it, thinking the sugar would be more accessible to them if it were not hard lumps. Soon a swarm arrived to soak up the sugar, yet they did not leave. Bogged down in the syrup, those who came died, and thereafter, none came.
Realizing that, like all creatures on the Earth, a thriving and vital life depends on appropriate conditions I felt badly and contacted the ants to apologize. I truly was sorry and truly wanted to establish this new promise of cooperative harmony. I simply needed to design an ant-feeder that would work.

In due course, I will be reporting on the outcome of our relationship with the ants in our backyard. They may already be settled into a happy home of their own by then. How will the ants respond to my apology, and how will our co-existence with the ants develop? Check back in about a month. We will see how it goes.

Earth, Balance, and The Next Top Spiritual Author contest

Sometimes I wonder how all the profound wisdom that has come to me through The Story of Light applies to our everyday lives. It does. Others see how, and many times, I see how too. Let us examine one of the primary contributions made by the guiding light of Earth to third dimensional consciousness. Earth’s contribution is balance.

From chapter 11, section 1.04 of The Story of Light, Through Heaven’s Gate entitled: “Earth”, the section begins with this paragraph:

“Earth is primarily a planet of balance. Earth is heart, mind, balance, duality, ground and sky, day and night, consciousness, flow and fluidity, physical plane, and the lowest place of consciousness in the Universe. Earth is a wild planet that has its own sense of order. Some species dominate while others scavenge. Earth’s truth lies in the balance of duality—not good or bad, not war or peace. The balance of duality is one of Earth’s primary gifts to the consciousness of this Solar System.”

If Earth’s contribution is balance, how does that apply to the Next Top Spiritual Author contest? In the first round of voting, the contest organizers were still fresh and had not worked through many of the issues of fairness that arose. Many authors voted for each other or solicited other author’s support. The general response was quite positive. Here were a group of spiritual people entered in a competition. There will be only one winner of the competition, so with a paucity of incentive, self-interest was put aside in communications with others. What arose was a sense of community without self-interest. This community manifested as radio program invitations, blog article exchanges, facebook friend invitations, gifts of various healing sessions and workshops, mutual voting support, and getting to know people from around the world. On my website, you can see the links page of “Authors of the World” (http://thestoryoflight.com/aw.php) as it grows with the books and introductions of some of the authors with whom I made connections. While this developing community may seem to be the higher purpose behind the project of the contest, we are on Earth where balance rules. Competition is a self-interested endeavour, and it was the driving force behind the larger effort.

Perceiving the competition as the lower purpose and the developing community as the higher purpose may have some validity. Judgments, however, need to be put aside to see the genuine energy that gives the truth its place. Without the competition, there would be no developing community. Without the developing community, there would be little incentive for the majority of the participants to bother spending time and effort. Yin, yang and the yo-yo goes up and down and down and up again.

If the developing community were given all of the energy expended, higher purpose would be fulfilled, but higher purpose is exactly that—higher. We are on Earth where purpose is grounded and real only in the physical plane. Higher purpose cannot be sustained without Earth’s energy to keep it going. To abandon the competition for the developing community would soon dissipate the driving energy. To abandon the community for the competition would put higher purpose in the toilet as self-interest would take over.

Balance is the key to understanding the truth of the outcome. Judging the community that helped its members to move into the second round as having an unfair advantage would blind a person to the value of community and all the sharing that is taking place. Judging the competition for promoting self-interest would eliminate the driving energy that stimulated the participants to pursue their writing endeavours. Some of the contest’s participants naturally gravitated to one polarity or the other. A competition-oriented person might report a fellow contestant to the authorities for soliciting votes due to his or her self-interest and a blind adherence to the rules. Community-oriented persons might give away all of their energies to supporting others and not pay attention to their own need to garner votes to continue in the competition. Both scenarios will inevitably be a part of the Next Top Spiritual Author contest.

So here we are in now in round 2. Round 1 was not constrained with specific rules to prevent authors from soliciting each others’ votes, but round 2 is so constrained. What is noticeable to me, as an author and contestant, is that the email traffic from others has virtually died off. There are a few authors who may not have read the round 2 rules, so some email traffic is apparent, but those who were very visible in round 1 are relatively unseen now within the authors’ community. Competition, based on the rules of fairness, is being enforced by the contest administrators, so community is no longer developing.

So where is the balance?
Balance is the truth of the overall outcome. For those with a strong competitive-orientation, the rules are important to prevent the unfair advantage as the competition narrows the field of participants to the single winner. Unfortunately, one winner means numerous losers, especially to those to whom competition is the only motivator. One could point to a few other benefits of going farther in this competition such as visibility for one’s book to publishers, but even secondary incentives inevitably arrive at the point of balance. For those with a strong community-orientation, proceeding further into the self-interest of the competition with only a 1 in 271 chance of becoming the winner is losing its appeal. The reduced participation in the developing community, clearly evident in round 2, is a real disappointment to the community person. Without an interest in competing, this person will drop out.

So where is the best place to be?
The answer lies in understanding who you are and what you want. Are you driven or altruistic? I am that I am without self-judgment. Define yourself, and you will understand better where, on the sliding scale of action, you need to be. The point of balance within the contest lies between community and individualism. The community that developed in the first round cannot continue to grow into the second round. If community was your interest, then count your blessings now and cultivate the community that came to be as it is. If competition was your interest, then steel yourself for the struggle to come. Creating Space for the New

The scarcity (Scare City) conversation going on in your head causes you to hang onto those old clothes in the wardrobe or the three outdated cameras that collect dust in the cupboard. Perhaps you do not yet see that connection however, trust me, they are directly linked.

It is now time to make a little more room to allow for all those wonderful things that you desire.

Get a bigger bookshelf if you want new books, or purge some of those old titles that no longer fit with your new abundance mindset. Weed that garden, you know that every time you drive the car into the drive it drops your energy to see those weeds taking over. Pay your bills on time, every time, and each time you do this, give thanks that you can live a lifestyle that incurs such expenses. Empty those rubbish bins around the house regularly and…yes…have a bin in every room then empty them regularly. Go ahead, unclutter your world…it's wonderful for the Feng Shui (a scientific discipline based on the analysis of energy)!

How can anything great come into your physical, spiritual or mind space when you keep filling the spaces with all those unnecessary extras? Including, worry, drama, procrastination, physical clutter and negative conversation.

Where else can you make some room for the "good things" about which you dream? Take a look around, make a list and work your way through it. Set a timer each day for ten minutes if it helps. Pick a sock drawer or a cupboard shelf to "attack" in those ten minutes. Make that phone call or write that email that you've been putting off. Really feel that feeling of having it done and look forward to that reward.

Reincarnation: believe it or not! Well, rather than pander to
the doubt inherent in the "not" part, I will assert that a soul
has incarnated onto the Earth in you. You are the incarnation
of your soul. As it is the soul, rather than the ego, that
enlivens the body with spirit, you should not expect that you
will reincarnate. Too often, our Earthly ego would have us
believe that somehow, Brenda-May Bashful will miraculously
reappear at some other place in another body. It just does not work that way. The poor ego gets one lifetime and no more. The soul, however, gets many life times __ hundreds, even thousands. The soul is incarnate on Earth (Roger Joyeux in my case) for the purpose of evolving a third dimensional consciousness. Soul sticks its toes into the waters of the Earth to experience the hot and cold of physical life.

Take inventory for a moment. Have you ever experienced depression, joy, fatigue, elation, deceit, beauty, hesitation, pleasure, and so on and on? Each experience that you, in human form, go through is imprinted upon your Earthly consciousness. Each drama in life that you participate in, each sensation that carries energy, offers a variation in conscious experience. As all of your experiences in
the incarnate form are conducted on the physical plane, the record of the consciousness provides the
soul with the understanding it needs to fulfill its evolution on Earth.

Consider that when you dip your toes into the lake of life, you are only experiencing the temperature of the water at the edge of a very small part of the shore. The soul, in its purported vastness, is just as hesitant about jumping in as you might be. Earth is like the Hudson River in October. Not only is it rather mucky, it is very cold. The third dimension is a very low-level, slow, and dense vibration in relation to the enlightened universe where the soul resides. For the soul to jump in would be like going polar swimming on New Year's Eve. Some souls who would do anything!

For the rest of us, just getting our knees wet can be enough. To go so far as to get its ‘knees’ wet, the
soul incarnates. It checks the water in one incarnation, then incarnates again to check how deep the water is. Each incarnation is conducted for the purpose of accumulating experience on the physical plane. Each experience adds to the sum total of a soul's third dimensional consciousness. When enough Earthly consciousness has been acquired, the soul graduates from this plane. That is, all the lessons have been learned, all the experiences have been accomplished, and all the consciousness, needed to master the third dimension, returns to the soul. The soul’s contract for Earth comes to its conclusion and it ascends from the bonds of Earth. Liberation! 

There is only so much that a single human incarnation can experience in any one lifetime, and nowhere near enough to give the soul all the physical consciousness it needs. It takes at least several lifetimes as a serious dancer to become a prima ballerina. And, it takes several lifetimes
as a soldier to lead a victorious army. Each role requires the completion of numerous lessons and the accumulation of a measure of consciousness. To complete the full round of Earthly experience takes hundreds and thousands of lifetimes.

So how does this apply to your own spiritual journey? When you come to the realization that you are here on Earth as an extension of your soul and have been given the responsibility of a free will, you might also realize that using the free will to honour and serve the evolution of the soul is the essence of your existence. You are not the ego who would shrink in disappointment with its own insignificance, but a droplet of pure consciousness manifest on Earth. As you conduct your life, if you can wilfully surrender yourself to the wishes and directions of your soul, the spiritual journey unfolds before you. When you align your Earthly intent with the intent of the soul, all of the conscious experiences needed by the soul can be acquired easily. The spiritual path then accelerates
significantly, as the soul creates the events that give you physical consciousness. When you are fully in tune and compliant with the energy flow of your own soul, the heavens open for your knowingness. 

By the time you become fully in tune and compliant, you already know. The way to align with the soul is to repeat the mantra: "It is my will to align with my higher self in
truth." When you infuse the energy of your soul into your daily life, prepare yourself for change. As my guides said to me, "Get a captain's chair and a four-point harness, then strap in tight and brace for the ride."

Innovating Physical Duality

The problem of etheric magnetic field concentration was a serious impediment to Earth’s enlightenment process. What to do? As necessity is the mother of invention, the angelic caretakers sought innovations that bypassed the etherics and facilitated the flow of light to the Earth. The physical plane’s version of duality was one such innovation.

Earth’s third-dimensional path was illuminated by the contrast provided by duality. Within the realm of duality, vibration was simplified into the two states of the black and white, the good and bad. It separated the yin, the female aspect, from the yang, the male aspect. By presenting vibration in one of the two polarities, and then generating its mirror image in the other opposing polarity, duality provides contrast. Through the contrast of opposites, the limits of physical reality became visible.

Whenever reference is made to the negative and positive aspects that make up duality, a third aspect found in the original state of any vibration has been left out. In the original state in the heavens, vibration involves a triad consisting of yin-yang-soul. The negative yin energy and the positive yang energy exist in union with the soul. Separation is absent. The soul, however, has been unable to enter the third dimension to anchor fully because it was neither acceptable to, nor compatible with physical vibration. Its subtle beingness was too high to withstand the rough density and turmoil of third-dimensional existence. Therefore, the soul aspect has been withheld from Earth. Duality, then, involves the polar opposites of yin-yang, negative-positive without the presence of the soul.

Duality’s contribution to Earth’s enlightenment occurs when duality is surpassed by the reunion of the yin and yang. By combining the yin and the yang, the resulting construct is the original vibration or light frequency. Importantly, the reconstructed frequency acquired compatibility within the third dimension.

In preparation for entry into the third dimension, vibrations of many varieties were split into their polar opposites. When a light frequency is split into the separate aspects of yin and yang, it loses its integrity. Neither the yin nor the yang aspect constitutes a complete light frequency in the true sense. The etheric magnetic field can detect, attract, and repel whole frequencies consisting of both polarities, yet is ineffective when dealing with its parts. This meant that the individual yin and yang aspect was able to slip through the etherics unimpeded.

Each of the aspects of a particular light frequency, that had split to come to Earth, continuously creates an attraction for the other aspect. Yin attracts yang; yang attracts yin. Once on Earth, their inherent polarity initiates their reunification process. Eventually, yin combines with yang. Reunification takes place yielding a balanced light frequency that is whole, available, and useable on the third dimension.

To illustrate the process, picture the aircraft owner who folds up his aeroplane’s wings, packs it into a crate, and then transports it to a distant place. Once at the destination, the aircraft is reassembled making it ready to fly. In a similar and humble way, the frequencies of divine light were transported onto the Earth through separation into polar opposites. Separation allowed light frequencies to make the journey into physical vibration without being stopped by the protective etheric shield. Once on Earth, the separate aspects of yin and yang reunited through polar attraction to become as divine as they were before descending into third-level vibration.

Although the model of reunification is simple enough to understand, several problems hindered progress. Visualize a cardboard box full of different varieties of yin and yang particles floating and bouncing off the walls and each other. Also picture some particles entering and leaving the box in differing quantities and qualities. The problem: the yin and yang aspects were not always able to come together harmoniously.

But why?

First, although opposing polarities attract each other, they are often incompatible. The yin aspect of one light frequency may readily attract the yang aspect of another frequency, yet union can only occur when both are of the same frequency.

Second, union was frustrated whenever individual aspects became overwhelmed by the random jumble of disharmonious, dissimilar frequencies. An environment of turbulence, created by numerous incompatible and polarized aspects all moving in different directions, is not conducive to reunification.

Third, polar opposites move towards each other at varying rates and intensities and seldom come together in a balanced manner. Rather than merging harmoniously, they collide.

Fourth, both the yin and yang aspects can be of the same light frequency, yet one aspect may be more abundant than the other, thereby creating an imbalance. The excessive polar energy of the abundant aspect will be overwhelming to the less abundant aspect.

Fifth, because union occurs within manifest-form, the form is subjected to tensions caused by excess polar energy. If the integrity of the manifest-form’s physical construct cannot withstand the tensions in polarity, it will disintegrate, and the energies accumulated therein will quickly dissipate. That is, within the context of the suggested visualisation, the cardboard box itself can fall apart spilling its contents.

Incompatibility, disharmony, collision, imbalances, and the loss of form-integrity are a few of the problems that have slowed the process of reunification.

Turbulence and disharmony work against union; calm and serenity make it possible. Within a space of serenity, two polarized aspects of a light frequency are able to find the harmony needed to merge gently into a complete and viable light frequency. The propensity, to unite two polar opposites of the same frequency, has always depended upon their continuous attraction for each other. When there is an absence of turbulence, disharmony, and imbalance, attraction leads to union. Because of this principle and despite the difficulties, polar opposites did unite and whole manifest light frequencies were the result.

As an innovation for the purpose of bringing light onto the physical plane, the separation of the yin and yang polarities-–duality-- worked. Light, unable to bypass the etheric magnetic field, slipped through in a different and undetectable form.
